The nation of Israel, while chosen as a nation by God is under His judgment for their unbelief. As a nation, the Jews are not God's focus today, but individual Jews are being saved by believing in Jesus as their Messiah. God has revealed He has in His plan an appointed time for their national salvation. He has not forsaken or replaced them as a nation and will resume His rescue plan for their salvation and then their occupation of the land He has given as their possession. The means of their salvation will be faith in Jesus Christ while He is the only object of their saving faith. Faith in Him will result in their being forgiven of their sin and credited with righteousness. The perfect righteousness of God which they nor any one else can never attain by keeping the Mosaic Law because no one can keep it perfectly. Christ alone did that demonstrating who He was, is, while authenticating His claim to be Israel's Messiah and the Son of God.
