It seems that Arminianism goes beyond the issue of free will versus predestination, as the gospel is preached as if man is totally in charge. However, it is of God to will and to do according to his grace.

“ Great Sermon! ” Very thorough, well thought through. I was looking for the root of the problem and Wow! you are only 5.21 miles from Powerscourt where it all started. I see how you relate Arminianism to dispensationalism but that's not true in USA. The dispensationalists I know are mostly Calvinistic gap theorists from DTS or Moody Bible. Chuck Smith, Dave Hunt, Hal Lindsay, John Hagee. Not a drop of Arminianism in those boys. Scofield was a lawyer, and Moody didn't choose between free will and predestination.
