Although He was the Lord of glory, He did not simply come down from heaven declaring who He was, and demanding that people would believe in Him. Instead, He was born as a Man to live a humble life among men. As He grew up no one knew that He was the Son of God except for His mother and a few others. And then at the age of 30 years, He began His earthly ministry. He spoke to the Jews openly, the words of truth concerning Himself, and His Father God who sent Him. He showed His fellow-countrymen, the Jews, by His words and His works, that in His Incarnation He had come down from heaven to save those who would believe in Him. What truths did the Lord Jesus speak to His own people to try to win them to Himself, so that they might be saved? Let me give you 4 ways that Jesus tried to win them.
