In this passage, God asks the question, "Where is My honor?" God is a great King and He deserves respect. When it says that God is great, it doesn't mean that God is "cool" or "neat." It means He is gigantic in substance and weight. Humanity will gladly give honor and praise to another human being who has great beauty or intelligence or skill. We show that we have no problem giving honor to someone who amazes us. So, why don't we honor God, when He is the true source of everything that is admirable in this world? It is either because we forget that He is the source of all greatness, or because we are hostile to Him.
