In chapter 33, God declares where the guilt lies when a watchman has the duty of alerting a city of an approaching enemy, and calls Ezekiel to be a spiritual watchman for the Jews. God then goes on to declare that He is fair, whereas the Jews are not. What applications are there for us? Does this illustration of God's fairness show that salvation is based on the last act you do before you die? There are several possible interpretations, and some definite applications for us.
