Introduction Pastor Tim's approach to preaching the Bible is to preach through the Bible book by book, paragraph by paragraph. The reasons for this approach are many. But among the most significant benefits are 1) Ideas contained within a paragraph of Scripture are presented within the context of the human author's flow of thought, which anchors our interpretation to the author's original meaning; and 2) This approach avoids the temptation for a pastor to only preach his "favorite" passages or passages that he feels are "important." The Bible says, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable."
