Then Samuel rises commanding them to turn to the LORD in repentance. 'Turn' (conversion) is the key word. At this place we consider what is and what is not conversion to Christ. Many professing Christians, like Israel, lament after the LORD but have yet to truly, fully convert to Christ. Then the LORD will restore us so that we can have the victory over sin, the world, and Satan.
