Responding in obedience to those in authority is always the right response unless obedience would mean being disobedient to God. God has an authority structure beginning in the home and expanding out to the church, and governing authorities in all levels of government. What that appropriate response is, is best determined by and through the wisdom God provides in His word as guided by His Spirit.
