In contrast, God who created all things is named is Yahweh. He revealed himself in history through the Exodus, in which he overthrew the gods of Egypt. Then we learn of God's love and mercy in the New Testament in sending his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to rescue his people by dying on the cross for their sins and then rising from the dead in order to grant them resurrection life also.
