And it is not possible in any way to understand the course of human events, it is not possible to understand what is taking place in our world without an understanding of the purpose of Jesus Christ. As we continue Revelation 5 our attention will be turned from the One who is sitting on throne, God the Father, to the One who has provided redemption by His death, the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. So the focal point or the focal person of chapter 5 of Revelation is Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
