When? When Did He Turn You... Into His Storyteller?
One of the most precious works of God is when He interrupts people like us. Let's think about that sweet interruption of God, as it is illustrated in John 4, with the lady of Samaria and Jesus meeting at the watering well. • Don't miss this... a divine encounter, with an intentional Jesus, has a way of invading and transforming our priorities and purpose, that they may come in-line and fall in place with the Christ-centered agenda of heaven. Listen to what happens when Jesus intends to change a persons everyday agenda for His glory. • "The woman THEN left her waterpot (she came to the well to fill her waterpot, not to meet Jesus), and went her [new] way [after being interrupted by Jesus and invaded with His grace] into the city [with an entirely new set of priorities and purpose], and said to the men, "COME, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. [And if He knows what I did, He must know what you did, too.] Could this be the Christ?" (John 4:28-29) • Thank You, Lord, for lovingly interrupting us and invading our lives with Your grace. Had You not, we'd still be seeking to fill "my waterpot" at some lifeless well and do our thing rather than Your. Thank You, and thank You for the fountain of living water that now springs up in us... and thank for saving us in hope of what is still yet to be revealed in and to us. • #nestingwithjesus #john #john4 #samaritan #womanatthewell #waterpots #sheleftherwaterpot #shebecameafountain #shehadaspringflowinginher #shehadtogowatersomebody #wherehaveyouleftyourwaterpot #springsoflivingwater #wellsofsalvation #vesselsofgrace #vesselsofmercy #drawingfromthewells
