The Book of Hebrews is the remedy to all of this. 1:1 – Our fathers. 3:1; 4:14 – Jesus is the true and final High Priest. 5:11-6:2 – a rebuke Chapters 8 and 10 quote from Jeremiah 31 concerning the New Covenant. 8:13 – The Temple system was still standing – but wouldn’t be much longer.
II. The Unbelieving Jews 21:27-29
It is ironic that that these zealous Jews turn against Paul – for something that Paul had hoped would win him a hearing with the zealots.
