What Really Endures and Lasts?
The right kind of love, faith and hope.
Love always wins... it never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:8
The right kind of love never fails.
"Love suffers long... and while it suffers it is always kind, it is never envious nor does it command attention or gratitude, it will not act ugly or demand respect and it cannot think wrongly or rejoice over wickedness, but it always celebrates and rejoices in the truth, and therefore, it can and will bear all things, believe all things, hope all things, endure all things. Love never ever fails... and it cannot act any other way..." (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
Blessings friends... may the Lord Jesus help us discern and make a clear distinction between His understanding and view of love and what others claim to be love. No, not that we can can devalue their false claims but that we can love and therefore, live like Him. Because nothing short of this kind of love counts... right now or in the end. And I personally recognize that I cannot authentically love like this — without Him — living and loving through me, today, tomorrow and forever. His love, as with His grace, adds eternal value to everything I am and do... and when THEY are missing, the value of my fruit is reduce to nothing. A reality I must embrace and make dear to my heart if I desire to love and bear fruit worthy of His glory.
What's done by eternal faith will last forever. What's accomplished with eternal love will never fail. And what endured through eternal hope will never disappoint.
Remember... carefully placing genuine trust in that with is not true won't change what is not true... but it does devalue your genuine trust and makes [it] as usel |
