When Christ, the Lamb, returns with the armies of heaven, He will be victorious and put an end to the devil and his evil forces. Those with Christ are described as the called, chosen, and faithful. Their faithfulness having been a demonstration of their salvation, not the means by which they were saved. Christ having overcome death by His resurrection also provides resurrection to those in His army who likewise will have become overcomers. Being overcome by Christ is not merely sin and death but will include the devil and his false religious system he will have put in place during the seven years of the tribulation. His facades of worship and rule over the earth-dwellers will come to a complete devastation and final end. Believers of all times can be confident in their anticipation as God has revealed what is to come for them and those who chose not to believe.
