REPENT: God is looking for Jezebel to repent and her followers to do likewise. "Space to repent" infers the opportunity for repentance will only last so long. Psalms says, "For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)" (Psalm 49:8) once a person dies. God warns man that opportunities are not open-ended. Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 2 Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) GREAT TRIBULATION: Bible teachers fail to correctly and consistently apply this phrase because of long-held biases. The Bible NEVER refers to the yet-to-come seven-year period as THE Tribulation or THE Great Tribulation. These inaccurate designations for the seven years known as Daniel's Seventieth Week confuse people. Bible teachers and students should understand that the Bible never refers to this period as the "Tribulation" or the "Great Tribulation" (Revelation 7:14). These phrases are used to describe the suffering and greater suffering that will take place. Daniel's Seventieth Week uses the adjective "great" before the word "tribulation," describing the magnitude of unparalleled misery experienced during the second half of Daniel's Seventieth Week relative to the magnitude of the first half.
