This is the famous passage concerning the New Birth. This sermon was followed by the baptism in water of five persons whose testimonies are included. There were many children present at this service an we borrowed an object lesson from Dr. Drew Conolly. We used a fan with ribbons tied to it to illustrate the work of the Holy Spirit. With our physical eyes we can see neither the Holy Spirit nor the wind. But we can see with our physical eyes the effects of he Holy Spirit and the wind. We can see these things clearly, and the presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer has palpable results that can be seen and felt. Water baptism is truly a symbol of victory of the grandest sort.
