We have here in these verses a question being asked by the Apostle Paul, to the churches of Galatia. The question is – How can you go back? After you have come to know the Lord through New Covenant grace, how can you go back to the Old Covenant ceremonial law? It really is a good question, not only for the churches of that time, but of many churches in our own time. This evening we want to see and understand better the contrast that the Apostle Paul is making here between nature and grace. The contrast is noted by Paul in 2 particular ways. 1st – When people are in the state of nature, they do not know God, and they serve other gods. 2nd – When they are in a state of grace, they come to know God and are known by Him.
