Like the sin offering, the trespass offering was required by God, teaching us that the only way sinners can approach the holy Lord God and find forgiveness and acceptance with him is through the blood atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Substitute. In all the offerings three things stand out with prominence. We must never neglect these three things, or pass over them lightly. 1. Sin and its Acknowledgement. 2. Blood Atonement — Substitution! 3. Grace — Atonement and Forgiveness by the Blood!
