We noted in our last study on a stumbling block that Jesus Christ was a stumbling block or offence to the unbelieving heart. Also, the NT commands us not to be an offence to other believers. Rather than being that which tears down a believer we are all to be those who edify one another. In a spiritual sense, edification is when one believer builds up another. Let us labor to build up and not tear down true believers.
