Very likely with the eyes of the entire nation fixed upon Moses, he begins to ascend the mountains of Abarim. He's headed to a particular mount named Nebo, and to a certain peak, Pisgah. Here the LORD will cause Moses to see all the land He promised to them in Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
