Paul has introduced himself as an apostle of Jesus Christ and has expressed his prayer that the Galatians would know the grace and peace of God. He does this as he is saddened to see them turning away from the Gospel of God. What an awful thing to see others, who claim to be following Christ turning to something else for salvation. This is what motivated Paul to write this letter. He is hoping that with these clear words, the Galatians will listen and turn back to the narrow way. There is only one way. Paul is now going to go over his history. This history is not to build himself up, nor to garner support as he claims special teachers, but to show that he was taught this doctrine from God. This doctrine that he received is the same doctrine that the rest of the apostles and the early church also believed. It was God's way and not subject to change. Join us as we look at the life of Paul as he hears the gospel and turns to follow the Lord Jesus Christ.
