In this message we examine the trek that Jacob makes back to the Land of Promise at the Word of the Lord. Along the way, he sends word to his brother Esau, from whom he had fled some 20 years previously. To his horror -- Esau comes to meet Jacob with an "army" of 400 men.
Jacob goes to God with an excellent prayer (32:9-12). He then makes wise preparations for the possible violent meeting.
He then "wrestled with God" all night and his name was changed to "Israel".
