As our series on gospel worship continues, we are exhorted to know what distinguishes elements of worship and circumstances of worship. We find that the lack of clarity on this has led to chaos in the worship of the churches of God. But God has said that He is not the author of confusion but of peace and wants all things done decently and in order. To understand the distinction between elements and circumstances allows us to be confident that we are not offering strange fire - but instead are doing all according to the apostolic rule: "do all things decently and in order". Preached Sabbath PM from 1 Corinthians 14 on 06/13/21.
Outline: I. The need for order in worship. II. The need for defined elements of worship. III. The need for understanding circumstances of worship.
