We continued our study of the Five Points of Calvinism by looking at the Second point... Unconditional Election. As we studied Romans 9:6-24, we didn't want to argue with the text of Scripture, but we did want to understand Paul's argument. He anticipates doubting or questioning responses and addresses them. I think it is most important to remember the Creator/creature distinction. God is God and is not subject to our sense of justice or fairness. As the Psalmist says, He does what pleases Himself.
