The display of God's wrath is being manifest today as He turns some people over to their sin (Romans 1:18-32). Overt sin that is seemingly let go by God is not an indication that He is tolerating the behavior without there being severe consequences.
During the Tribulation there will be a growing awareness that world events are a result of His judgment. Now, and then, every person will be held accountable for suppressing His truth and pursuing a life of sin and rebellion.
Even so, during the Tribulation God's grace will still be shown as He saves some from every tribe, tongue, and people, along with the elect of Israel. Martyrdom of those saved during this time will be a common occurrence.
Heavenly activity during the Tribulation will be a great time of worship and praise as those martyred are joined by the hosts of heaven in praising God. In particular, praise and worship will be directed to God the Father and God the Son for the salvation provided.
