You are here this afternoon, and I trust that you will pray this prayer of verse 18: Lord, open my eyes, that I might behold wonderful things from Your law. You are here today, ready to take your place at the Lord's Table, so that your faith will be strengthened, and so that the Lord will renew His covenant of grace to you. As you meditate upon the truths that will be presented to you, you will pray that God will be honored by the way that you choose to live your life before Him. Here in this section of Psalm 119, there are 3 prayers that are made to the Lord in regard to the development of Christian Character, which I hope that you will make your own. I believe that Christian character should be prayed for and developed in the following 3 ways:
