Consider the great claims made about Jesus Christ, and how He came to heal the broken hearted.
Who indeed are the broken hearted, and what causes them to be so?
Why is it that there are few who are broken hearted, and what are some of the things that prevent us from feeling the necessary sorrow for our sin?
Who is the healer? Who is it that has the remedy to heal the broken hearted, and is able to meet with us in our need? Who is it that can bring peace, pardon and forgiveness?

Great Sermon! Thank you. It is most wonderful for me to realize that this message to the broken hearted is one that is, unlike a visit to the Dr who might be dealing with a problem that is temporary in its nature, this is a disease that must find a daily remedy for as many days as life is granted and for each day the promise is given that this healing is in anticipation to that day when all those effects of sorrow, sin being the cause, be those former things Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. and that even now Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. O to Love Him more.
