I so love this thought and request in Isaiah 38 and Psalm 119:126
We can't fix it, but we do need Jesus to fix us for it!
When it comes to personal insurance, one company says, "We know a thing or two, because we've seen a thing or two." They're simply saying, "we've been around awhile, and not much surprises or stuns us... we know how to answer your need when it comes." Well, I know Someone who's created more, knows more, seen more, healed more, redeemed more, provided more, rebuilt more, and restored more broken lives and broken things than all the insurance companies combined and He's still UNDERTAKING for those who trust Him today. And if He'll UNDERTAKE my sin, that's been an assault toward Him, I know He'll UNDERTAKE the things I commit to His loving and tender care.
The desperate prayer and devotion of a wise soul. King Hezekiah was sick and told to get his affairs in order because death was upon him. He was in a mess. His body was failing, His hands are unable to fix it, His heart is oppressed and His spirit was burdened by this reality and cried out to God and pleaded with Him:
• underwrite for me • stand in for me • support me • insure me • defend me • protect me • cover me • strengthen me • guide me • deliver me • sustain me • mend me • heal me • revive me • restore me • use me
A prayer of faith that's saying, "You're my strength, stability, and security, my only hope today and when I'm in trouble, You're it, my only hope is that You will be in the trouble with me."
Think about it like this? When practical problems, in our everyday lives, are too much
