The Beatitudes are the good attitudes which "be" in a true Christian. They are there because of Christ's grace working in their heart. They will be displaying these gracious attitudes in relation to keeping all of God's commandments. A Christian is a person who is one who has been blessed with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ. And so, when they are born again and they believe in Christ, and their heart changes for the better, and then because of His grace, they will begin and continue to show forth these righteous attitudes toward other people around them. This change towards righteous attitudes and behavior, reflects Christ's Spirit at work in their heart. If you are a Christian you have the grace of meekness because You have been given the Holy Spirit. Will you exercise this marvelous grace in your attitude toward God and other people? And 3rd – To show you the Ultimate Source of all Meekness in the Man Christ Jesus. In opening up these truths, I pray that each one of us will pray for the grace that we will need to become meek in the best sense of that word, and exhibit true Biblical meekness in our speech and conduct so that our God will be glorified in us.
