God made us alive with Christ Jesus, even when we were dead in transgressions and sins. Regeneration is the great doctrine of the rebirth. We are born into this world, dead on arrival. Dead to God. Dead in love for Him. And that is how we will remain until the day we die and plant our first footstep in hell. Unless... Unless God intervenes, has mercy on us, and regenerates us from the dead. Happily, God has done this already for millions. This is your greatest need. Good works will not help you. Free will cannot save you. If you are dead in sin, you are helpless. You are at God's mercy. You must be born again.
