We're studying James 3, and today we're looking at verse 2.
2 We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check. That's comforting, right? Even James, an author of Scripture, includes himself in the group of people who stumble in many ways in their speech. If anyone claims he never stumbles in his speech, that guy just stumbled in his speech because he told a lie. We all stumble. We all stumble a lot. But why? What's the underlying cause of those times when our mouths get us in trouble?
