2 Peter 1 part 2 | When he wrote this Peter is old and he wants to remind people of what they already know. We must remember that Jesus Christ is not running for office, He is Lord. What the Bible says is true. We have to choose in this life what we will count on and trust His word. The Bible does not change from century to century. Jesus is not just one of the ‘greats’. He is King of kings and Lord of lords. In order to determine right from wrong we must look at the standard, the scriptures. Scripture has authority and believers of Jesus must submit themselves to what the Holy Bible says. We need to be filled with God’s word and be changed by it. We if want to know the truth, we must go to the scriptures.
