"If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; does not He that pondereth the heart consider it? and He that keeps your soul, does not He know it? and shall not He render to every man according to his works?" (Proverbs 24:11-12).
"Why Do You Watch?"
I've often asked that question too, I'm not ashamed, I must tell you. Watching from my perfect view, Weeks I worked without one rescue.
Wondering why I came this way, Maybe to help someone someday. Month after month, here I stay, Watching the waters, day by day.
Then I noticed a ship drawing near, Moving closer to the shore I fear. I signaled my light, "Port, port now steer!" Praise God, I watched her sail clear.
Why watch from my perfect view? I'm not ashamed, I must tell you. Though I've only help save a few, I'll never forget my first rescue.

I love serving and watching from my perched view, overlooking troubled seas, trying to help people like you. Keeping you from crashing upon the deadly rocks of this world and pointing you to the safe haven of Jesus and His redeeming grace is a privilege and precious blessing of mine. Glory... there's such a sweet joy that comes with every rescue. Have a great day my friends! (Proverbs 24:11-12)
