This sermon deals with the difficulties, challenges, and responsibilities of the Christian woman who is married to and must submit as a Christian woman to a lost man. After dealing in depth with the text, we give some Biblical directives. Included are directives to single girls and women to warn them against entering into the unequal yoke as it applies to marriage. The message ends with 5 ways a woman can become involved in an unequally yoked marriage. The sermon is applicable in a broader sense to warn all of avoiding an unequal yoke and to everyone who finds themselves in the position of having to submit to a lost person in authority over them.

Great Sermon! I've been married to an unbeliever for 28 years. For the past two years we have lived separtely because our lives together became intolerable. Please listen to this sermon and heed the warnings, you do not ever want to willfully put yourself in this position, trust me, God's word is true, "And what communion has light with darkness?" (see 2 Cor. 6:14-16) If the Lord has saved you after you were married then rejoice in your salvation and trust the Lord, He is faithful He will protect you, lead you and provide all you need moment by moment. Don't think that you will save your husband or wife, boyfriend or girlfriend, for salvation belongs to the Lord.

A Needed Topic Thank you for sounding the warning clearly. I have watched many a young woman foolishly become involved with the wrong kind of man. Preventative medicine is the best kind. The warnings given are Biblical and helpful.

Great Sermon! This sermon is very timely as many young women fail to give Biblical truths in seeking a mate. What they hear is that love is all that matters. True, love is important but a Godly mate is what it takes to work out the problems in any marriage. I pray that those that hear this message will take heed to its contents.

Great Sermon! This sermon is a must for our day. Pastor Marquedant does an excellent job teaching God's revealed will in marriage, and the consequences if His will is ignored.
Many in the church today take the sacred union of marriage too lightly. Our children and new believers need to know these valuable, life altering truths BEFORE they get married or enter into dating.
We also need to be equipped with God's word to warn others of the heartache that goes with being unequally yoked, whether in marriage, friendships or businesss. I highly recommend this sermon you will be the better off for listening to it and taking it to heart.

Great Sermon! Thank you for taking a strong stand regarding the unequal yoke. The message also showed proper compassion and practical help for those who are in that situtation by God's providence.
