We have seen in our previous study that all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." And now, here in verse 15 we find the apostle mentioning just the opposite of loving attitudes and actions: But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another. That is – What was true and false in relation to the gospel, especially. So, we want to look 1st of all at the problem; that of Christians biting and devouring one another. And then 2nd – We will look at the remedy for this problem which is given to us in verse 16 – Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
