This Sunday we conclude our study on what it means to be "Reformed" with some final further reflections before turning our attention to what it means to be "Baptist" next week. For some, being Reformed means that one must embrace Covenant Theology. Others still might say that in order to be Reformed you must subscribe fully to the "Three Forms of Unity," adhere to the Regulative Principle of Worship, or fully embrace all of Calvin's teachings. But is that truly what it means to be Reformed? So often we hear the saying "doctrine divides," but is that true? Can doctrine instead unite us? Are some matters of biblical doctrine, what some would call, "first, second, & third-level theological issues," more critical than others? Do they affect our salvation? Please join us this week for our sermon titled, "Further Reflections on Being Reformed," as we look to answer these questions, and obey the command of our Lord Jesus to preserve the precious unity of His church, a church He bought with His own blood.
