In response to the gospel of Jesus Christ and the message of the Bible Katherine chose to leave her monastery in an empty fish barrel. Two years later she married Martin Luther and sacrificially served him, her children and all kinds of people who sought to learn all they could from her husband. She is a wonderful example of a godly homemaker, loving wife and mother and a sacrificial hostess. She was truly a woman who feared the Lord and whose works praised her in the gates! Christian men ought to be thankful for wives like Katherine and she continues to serve as an example of godly femininity. Enjoy this brief overview of her life.
