This is a Feast Day of the Lord. This is not Easter. We do not worship a fertility goddess here in this church. This is God’s Feast Day of First Fruits.
Pastor starts by talking about the speeding up of the expansion of the universe. It should have been mitigated by gravitational force. What could do that? And you should know that the correct question is, Who could do this. It is God Himself and astrophysicists are at a loss to understand it.
People want to find anything to explain it. What they don't want to talk about is the one Book that explains it. You've got places in this Book that are very specific on this topic. And this one Book tells you exactly Who is doing this. Psalms 104 is one place. Look also in Isaiah 44, 45 and 51. The answer of "Who?" is found all throughout this Book. John 8:12 is just one place where this One Person speaks of Himself.
Our Pastor goes on to talk about this in much detail. This is a great, but very short, salvation message. The Pastor dutifully tells these people, as best he can, about this Life and Light giver; this universe mover. He, Creator God - and He alone - is the only One Who can do these things. "Without controversy, great is the mystery of Godliness." We, with our little minds, cannot comprehend Him.
