There are a great many things that in Christ Jesus we have in abundance. And Paul here is bringing a couple of these things to our attention. In prayer we find abundance. God says that His house is to be a house of prayer not just a room but all of the building. And that He has opened His house of prayer to all who will come to Him, not just a select group. Whosoever calls on Jesus to be saved will be saved. Anyone who wants to talk to their heavenly Father can do just that! Also we have an abundance of the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament the Holy Spirit came and went but now when He comes He comes to stay. And we are filled to the uttermost not just part of the way. This is God's personal Spirit, God with us! If we are going to live for Him we must have the Holy Spirit in us. Our abundance also comes in that of great cause for rejoicing. We get to come together, we have a desire to fellowship together in worship of the Lord God. And we have the knowledge that one day we are all gonna get together for ever, eternal peace. And let us not forget the abundant life that Jesus gives us. Only He can deliver on that promise. And we are not alone we have an abundance of togetherness. We get to go forward following what the scriptures say in unity. As well as getting some healing in our lives. We come together to share the burden to help carry the concern to Jesus and His abundant love for us.
