Have you ever felt like God was silent and distant? Have you ever wondered if there is a God and why hasn't He answered me? Jesus is the ultimate answer of God's silence. Jesus preached from Isaiah; when we examine Isaiah 65 in light of the NT, we see the gospel and gain a better understanding of the harmony between the old and new. We see how Christ is the ultimate representation (the logos) of the outstretched hands of YHWH to a rebellious people who did not seek Him or desire to be found.

Great Sermon! My goodness. Re visiting this sermon 4 years later was such a blessing. The FIRE in the message presented here never gets old.

Thank You Pastor Harris I am grateful to Pastor Harris for taking a principled and biblical stand against the apostasy that has become so popular in our day. Thank you for proclaiming the truth in age of itching ears and fable spinners (2 Tim. 4:3-4).

Great Sermon! Rob Bell is unconverted and possibly... very possibly, even under the wrath of God in the form of judicial blindness and maybe even judicial abandonment. He definitely does not have a primary mark of conversion which is the fear of God.

Preach preacher! Thank you for standing up for truth no matter the cost. It is part of the true calling of a Shepherd to warn the sheep of the wolves and to 'expose the unfruitful works of darkness.' There are so many falling for this garbage coming from Rob Bell b/c their worthless 'pastors' will not speak up and contend for the truth. Ezekiel 33:6-'But if the watchman see the sword come & blow not the trumpet, & the people be not warned;if the sword come & take away any person from among them, he is taken away at his iniquity but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.' You are doing a good work. Please keep fighting! God bless you!

Bell Twist the Text Rob Bell certainly does not understand simple Bible interpretation. Instead he goes through the gospels like a tornado leaving behind him a destructive and mangled mess. Rather than trying to interrupt the Gospels in context he rips out the hard sayings of Jesus, runs the toughest one-liner verses together, and then does nothing to relieve the destruction he has created. His questions, thougn not all bad, arent answered. As Pastor Sean says he leaves us with a puny God who has no ablity to bring about juctice on the Bin Laden's of the world.
Isaiah 64-65 are not pleasent but they are truth. God wins! and we can be glad because every raptist, murder, and ruthless dictator loses and God exacts justice as he promised to.
