Our webcast dropped at the end of Pastor Bob's message due to unknown reasons. Our sincere apologies and 95% of the sermon has been uploaded.
This Lord's Day morning, the first day of the week, we've come together to worship and to study the word of God.
Presently, we are studying the apostle Paul's letter to the Galatians. If you have attended this fellowship for a while, you know that we study one book of the Bible at a time, verse by verse, with the purpose being to learn what God desires of us; to apply His holy word to our lives so that, over time, we mature in the Christian faith.
At this point, we are about to examine the last seven verses of chapter 3 in Galatians.
Throughout Paul's letter to the Galatian churches, he argues that righteousness and salvation cannot come from obedience to the Mosaic Law, for men are not able to completely obey the Law.
However, the intent of the Law was to reveal our sin to us, and to point us to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who fulfilled the Law and paid the penalty in full for our sins when He was crucified.
Therefore righteousness and salvation can only come through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
