If last week's sermon was a right hook to the jaw, this week's is intended to be a steel folding chair liberally applied to your head and shoulders. I think most of us are actually managing our sexual temptations fairly well — but far fewer of us have a good handle on our financial ones. We live in a rich society which is also a greedy, money-worshiping society. We know that sexual sin is a problem, even if we indulge in it. But we almost don't even know that greed is a problem. You and I need to learn to believe God's promise of presence and provision such that we are genuinely content with what we have. That's harder than you think, but through His gift of Christ to us, it is far from impossible.
