There is a new expression of atheism that wants to plunder religion including Christianity for constructive values that have been stripped from any supernatural context and utilized for the purpose of enriching a secular world. Such an endeavour is a proud and foolish delusion! Only a Christian faith of biblical proportions is big enough to deal with the evil of this world. Only a cross that is swallowed up in the victory of the resurrection can establish a new humanity in the immense mercy and saving holiness of God.
