The Purpose of A Confession
Does everybody have a Confession? Everyone has a worldview of some sort. We don't want to hide what we believe. Confessions unite us with the Church Universal in every age. Confessions unify us. The more robust the confession, the greater the unity. Confession is not the ultimate authority. The scriptures are sufficient. Creeds are what you must believe. Confessions are what you ought to believe.
