And the hearts of many are polluted with sin. Can anything be done about it. Can the water be healed? Our passage says that there are things can be done; things which are related to the word pictures given to us in this text. So I want us to think together about the meaning of all of these word pictures which are given to us here, as they relate to the preaching of the gospel and how people can be everlastingly helped by it.
