Part 2: We have the word of God, the promise of God, that Jesus Christ has already won the victory. Christ now lives in His believers. This is much better than even Jesus walking on the Earth. Through Jesus we can come directly to the Father and know Him as our Father. We need to prepare our minds for action. We experience the fullness of Christ, but not in full measure, Christians are still a work in progress and we need improving. We are to be holy, set apart with ownership and purpose. We are holy, that is, dedicated to Christ and for His purpose. If we are holy to the Lord, we will be different because the old way is how we used to be. If we are focused on pleasing Him, we will be out of step with the rest of the world. We will be proclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord. We need to do what he says and focus on Him and do as Jesus does. God's word instructs us and Jesus' blood redeems us. We are part of God's family at the cost of Jesus' life. We cost a fortune and need to treat our bodies as such. Now that we have been bought by the blood of Christ, we need to love one another deeply, from the heart.
