Paul ministered in a day in which Gentile sophists traveled about making much ado about themselves, expecting royal treatment wherever they went, and willing to engage in deceit or flattery to achieve their ends. Paul's way of ministering was simple. This great man in history was only great by God's choosing and God's timing. His methods were borne of simplicity and self-sacrifice. This is discipleship.
