In the Parable of the Importunate Widow Christ describes a scene where a culturally insignificant individual sought justice from a crooked judge. Now eventually this judge gave the woman justice NOT because of the particulars of her case, she was clearly in the right or that “ACLU” put pressure on him. No! She received justice because she unrelentingly pursued it. At the close of the parable Christ asked the pregnant question, “When the Son of Man comes, will He find [such] faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8).
