Jesus had to go alone to the cross to accomplish the work of redemption. No man could go with Him to help Him or to minister to His needs that day. It was a work which only the Son of God could do. But I want you to see that even though this was true, that the Lord Jesus Christ did have needs that His disciples around Him were meeting that day that as He entered Jerusalem. As we examine how his disciples were helping Jesus with His needs, I hope that you will see that our Lord still has needs which you can help Him with, as you go about to obey the commands of His word.
