Present trials cause very real difficulty and struggles that can weigh heavy and be wearisome as they continue. As part of God’s plan they are a privilege and ultimately a blessing, especially when they are provoked by the believer’s identification with Jesus Christ. Knowing God is in control and that regardless of the intent He will cause them to be for good is both strengthening and comforting as they are endured. Nothing that the Lord allows to go on in the life of His child is without purpose. Proclaiming the Gospel and testifying of Christ will be a joy to the believer that will surpass the hardships that may be incurred for faithfulness in living for the Lord. Every believer has both the privilege and responsibility to be ready and willing to share the Gospel. Every believer will be accountable for every opportunity to share the Gospel as God has arranged them. Doing right includes the moral responsibility to live a God-pleasing life which will be the silent backdrop to the verbal proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ. The presentation of the truth of the Gospel is always God-pleasing and always accomplishes exactly what He so intends as His word goes forth. So be the power of the Gospel that no believer should be unprepared or ashamed to make known.
